Murphy was originally rebuilt to secure the city for a corporate future. In this chapter, the question becomes whether that same machine can continue to serve the corporation when the corporation itself has become the clearest danger to the people on the ground. The answer is not delivered as an abstract debate. It appears in practical acts of protection, refusal, and alignment.

The second shows it trying to transform collapse into a permanent business model.
